The Bunker

Favourite
After surviving a harrowing abduction Isabel Eriksson confronts her past trauma. Battling PTSD, she faces her fears and revisits the sinister bunker where a deranged doctor held her captive.

In 2015, Isabel Eriksson was drugged and kidnapped by doctor Martin Trenneborg during a date. When Isabel woke up, she found herself inside a bunker that Martin had spent years building. The result, a perfect bunker designed to keep her imprisoned. His plan was for Isabel to become his new girlfriend and wait for him at home when he came back from work. Isabel realised that the only way out was to convince Martin that she wanted to be in the bunker. A psychological battle unfolded in the bunker, where Isabel faced several challenges as Martin wanted to test her loyalty.

Even today, many years after the trauma, Isabel suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Now she is ready to go through the details of what happened in the bunker in order to put it behind her and move on with her life. In a three-part documentary, we follow Isabel as she undergoes exposure therapy where she exposes herself to all the memories, confronts her fears and finally returns to the dreaded bunker.
