Ronja faces impossible choices as she navigates family loyalty, love, and survival in the enchanted yet perilous forest.
Following the success of Season 1, which became a Netflix Top 10 hit in 15 countries, Ronja, the Robber’s Daughter returns with a thrilling second season. This beloved family fantasy continues to captivate with its epic scale and modern sensibility. Season 2 deepens the emotional stakes as Ronja is torn between loyalty to her father, Mattis, and her bond with Birk, the son of his sworn enemy, Borka. Against the breathtaking backdrop of the untamed Nordic wilderness, Ronja must navigate love, betrayal, and survival as tensions reach a breaking point.
As winter tightens its grip, Ronja secretly provides food to Birk and his family to help them survive. But when Borka accuses Mattis of stealing, it sets off a chain of events that drives Mattis into despair. Meanwhile, Ronja is lured into the forest by Chegge, who warns her that Cappa, the ruthless bailiff, is plotting to capture her to get to Mattis. When Chegge himself is falsely accused of theft and cast out, Ronja is faced with a difficult choice: stay silent or reveal the truth.
