We’ll get to know Lasse as a person and a filmmaker through archive material, Lasse’s own words and interviews with family, friends and colleagues.

The backdrop of the documentary is on location of the Viaplay Original “Hilma”, where we follow Lasse and his wife Lena Olin as they produce another piece of successful content to add to their already impressive filmographies.

Lasse has worked with some of the biggest names in show business in Sweden and abroad and we've sat down for interviews with some of these - Helen Mirren, Tobey Maguire, Richard Dreyfus, Juliette Lewis, Richard Gere, Julia Roberts, Benny Andersson,Björn Ulaveus, Jonas Åkerlund, Pernille August, Per Gessle, Tommy Körberg and Lasse Åberg.
