Gyllene Tider, which translates to ""Golden Times"" in English, were a legendary Swedish rock band that achieved immense popularity and success during the 1980s. Formed in 1977 in Halmstad, Sweden, the band quickly rose to fame with their infectious pop-rock sound and charismatic stage presence. Despite breaking up in 1985, after the release of their only album in English, ""The Heartland Cafe"", Gyllene Tider left an indelible mark on Swedish music, and their influence can still be felt today. ​

This inspirational feature film, written by Wallander and Miss Friman's War's Pernilla Oljelund, will tell the story of how five teenagers captured the heart of the Swedish nation. The biopic charts the story of Per, a small-town, ambitious misfit who dreamt of pop stardom and found a brotherhood through music with MP, Micke, Anders and Göran. Follow the highs and lows of this legendary pop group as we recount their incredible career.
