A tense Nordic noir where crime and legacy uncover long-buried secrets

When a man walks into the Älvsbruk police station and confesses to murdering his wife, it initially appears to be a tragic family drama. But doubts soon arise - the details don’t add up, and strange symbols and clues send the investigation in an unexpected direction.

Veronika is trying to rebuild her life after separating from Tomas. She has moved into her aunt Ninni’s old house and taken a desk job, but when her terrifying visions return, she is forced to confront the darkness she has long tried to suppress. The discovery of Ninni’s old diary pulls Veronika back to the 1960s, where she learns that her aunt carried the same gift - and a haunting past. As Veronika and Nassir follow the trail, a hidden pattern begins to emerge, pointing to a seemingly ordinary foundation concealing deep secrets.

As past and present collide, what begins as a murder investigation becomes something far greater. To uncover the truth, Veronika must face a power that refuses to stay buried.
