Trapped in suburbia, a father snaps – and starts sabotaging his neighbours

Anders, 43, lives in a suburban house with his wife and daughter. He has a perfectly decent job at a speakers’ agency, a familiar circle of friends, and he plays padel. Everything should be fine… But Anders feels trapped in his life.

He despises the phoniness of middle-class life. He despises the pointless dinner parties with the same damn small talk about renovations, TV series, larch wood decking, and holiday plans for winter and summer break. He despises the idiots who stand up at 40th birthday parties to give rhyming speeches or perform a rap with custom lyrics, thinking they’re entertainers. He despises the liquor store bags in the recycling bin that are too small to use as trash bags. And people who go on about how “things are finally getting better again.” The nouveau riche neighbour who brags about his success and calls everything and everyone a c*nt. Anders has had enough.

The endless charade of adulthood is pushing him to the brink of a breakdown. So, to relieve the pressure, Anders starts harassing his neighbours.
