A story about a talented boy from Copenhagen who aims for the stars with the World at his feet, but goes astray amidst glamour in the fast lane, betrayed by the people closest to him. With unprecedented access to Nicklas and his family, managers, and teammates, we intimately explore the defining moments in his life. The film cuts between the present day, following his struggle to retire from football (2019-2022), and the past with flashbacks to decisive moments from his life (1988-2018). Past and present are seamlessly interwoven, providing a profound insight into Nicklas Bendtner's personality.
