Inspired by true events, Golden Boys follows the meteoric rise and spectacular fall of two cousins who orchestrate Sweden’s biggest financial fraud.

White-collar criminal Joachim Posener, recently released from prison, has a dream: to give his five-year-old son everything. Determined to build an empire and earn respect - from society and his disapproving parents - he teams up with his flamboyant cousin, Thomas Jisander. Together, they party hard, dream bigger, and hatch bold, illegal business ventures. They call themselves the “Golden Boys.” To realise his ambitions, Posener orchestrates the largest fraud in Swedish history, with Jisander by his side. But when a journalist begins digging into their affairs, their glamorous world starts to crumble.
