Darkness: Those Who Kill, Season 4 (Pod osłoną mroku)

Favourite
New season of the Scandinavian hit

For Louise Bergstein, brutal murders and trying to understand the mindset of their perpetrators are part of everyday life. In the new episodes of 'Darkness - Those Who Kill', the protagonist will once again take viewers into a world full of tension, horror, and unexpected twists, where nothing is as it seems. The fourth season will be particularly significant for the profiler’s personal life, as she has only just regained her balance after the dramatic events of previous seasons.

Past and Future
The series 'Darkness - Those Who Kill' is already well-known to fans of Scandinavian crime dramas. Its signature features are a dark, tense atmosphere that thickens with every episode, driven by intriguing investigations and the exploration of complex, mysterious characters. The main protagonist is criminal profiler and serial killer expert Louise Bergstein, who tackles a new case each season. The smallest detail can lead her to the perpetrator, unraveling the truth thread by thread. Unfortunately, her dangerous profession has often impacted her personal life - not only due to the direct threats she faces while dealing with potential perpetrators of the crimes she investigates, but especially because of the most painful blows, dealt up close when she least expects them. The profiler remains one of the most compelling characters in Scandinavian drama, and now viewers have the chance to follow the next chapter of her story.

Gangland Rivalries?
The new season of the dark thriller immediately plunges us into a case involving a brutal execution that took place during a party of Copenhagen’s criminal underworld. The murdered man had recently been released from prison, where he served time for drunk driving that claimed the life of a young woman. While his death may at first appear to be a matter of gangland rivalries, many questions remain unanswered. The investigation is further complicated by the fact that those present at the scene have no intention of cooperating with the investigators. When criminal profiler Louise Bergstein and investigator Frederik Havgaard - familiar to viewers from the third season - join the team, the number of potential suspects begins to grow. The investigation becomes increasingly complex, and as tension rises, the line between the protagonists’ personal and professional lives starts to blur. How much will they have to sacrifice to solve the next case?
