Brave Swedish soldiers unknowingly plunge into Bosnia's brutal conflict in 1993, navigating the treacherous line between duty and humanity.

A Life's Worth is a six-part drama series inspired by the first Swedish UN battalion in Bosnia in 1993. The four young soldiers Forss, Babic, Strand and Kilpinen do their first overseas service in the tangled and bloody conflict in the Balkans. The mission proves impossible to solve by peaceful means alone. They are accompanied by their battalion commander Andreasson, who is torn between the desire to intervene and the duty to follow orders. It is a story of human brutality and difficult moral decisions, but also of strong friendship, love and trust between people.
